Think that this screw is key to removal. Will have another look tomorrow as its lashing down outside. Tried to post pics but message says the board quota has been reached

Hi, thanks for reply. Yes alloy vent on top of plastic vent. No lower vent just a hole in the floor. Will try to post some pics.

Autosleeper fridge vent removal
Hi all. I'm trying to remove the fridge (Electrolux RM 4200S) from my 1987 Autosleeper Trident to clean the gas section as it's becoming difficult to light. I'm having difficulty removing the large vent which incorporates the flue pipe, so I can get to the units wiring/plumbing. The vent is made fro...

Re: Coolant Temp Sensor
Never got as far as testing it. Took out sender with plug connected as was unable to separate them in situ and discovered broken wire in plug. New sender and spade connectors fixed the problem.

Coolant Temp Sensor
Hi all haven't been on for a while. I have a 1987 1.9DG WBX Wondering if you can help me with a problem I'm having. My temp gauge is showing no sign of life although the red led flashes as normal on start up. I've located the coolant temp sensor but I don't seem to be able to disconnect the plug/wir...

Re: Greasy front wheel
Hi
I get this sometimes as well, usually on a long journey. Had the wheel checked but all found to be ok.
I wondered if it had something to do with grease coming out of speedo cable?

Re: removing gearbox fill plug???
I used a double ended drain plug tool with a standard ring spanner set at an appropriate angle so that I could get a trolley jack under the spanner. Lifted carefully to just crack it open. Van was on level ground when I did this. Worked a treat.

Re: Hook up
Don't know if this helps. My pump and interior lights work off leisure battery. Hook up only powers fridge and 3 pin socket.

Re: does this sound infected ?
My other car makes a similar noise. Its coming from the alternater, think the bearing is on its way out. Can you isolate the area the sound comes from?

Re: Interior ladder
Hi
I have something similar in my 1987 Autosleeper Trident, however the long lengths are the same size. Can't be used as a ladder as is too short to reach the top bunk, looks to fragile anyway.
