Removing Petrol Pump
I have a fuel leak what seems to be between the base of the fuel pump and the side of the engine, its a 2litre CU Aircooled 1982. Its either just a gasket but could be the diaphragm and gasket? If i remove the fuel pump to have a bit of an ispection and take apart, will the oil leak out of the engin...

I think that should be it however it appears to be fairly straight on that pic , where as in the carb thats still got one in, the little brass looking tube has a proper 90 degree bend pointing down towards the butterfly? is it just the picture is just a rough guide? :? Just to add, have spoken to vw...

Hi, can anyone help?!! Ive got a 2 litre air cooled van with twin carbs ( Solex 32-34 PDSIT 2/3 ) the problem is im missing the acceleration jet in the top of the number 3 carb ( apparently its a common thing, the brass looking tube gets sucked out and gets chunked up in your engine!!) I know now af...
