Reconditioned CU cylinder head.

Can anybody recommend a place that does reconditioned cylinder heads.
I'm looking for one for my CU engine, preferably in the Midland area.

Removing cylinder head 2l cu Aircooled.

Trying to remove the cylinder head from my engine. The engine has been removed from my van, removed all the cylinder head nuts but am having trouble separating the head from the cylinders. Does anyone any ways of doing this with out damaging the cylinders.

Valve adjuster seized

Hi All
2 litre cu engine. Tryed adjusting the valves this evening, loosened the 14mm lock nut but adjuster itself will not move. Anyone have any ideas how to free the adjuster.

Apologise for late reply.the co reading was 2.81 and the hc reading was 3197.I took the vehicle home to have a look, found a small air leak on the carb manifold gasket and fixed it. Took it back to the mot tester, he check it again, the co was fine but hc was 7000 plus. The tester revved the engine ...

Hi My 2.0 cu engine with dellorto carbs t25 failed mot on the hydrocarbons emission levels to day.I checked for air leaks and found one, manage to fix it and took it back to the mot testers but it still failed.The van passed last year with the same set up.Does any one have any ideas what the problem...

Could be the haul sender in the distributor, i think they are around £60 for a new one. You may need to change need all of your ingnition system, ignition mod,coil,ht leads, rotor arm, distributor cap, haul sender, spark plugs.Your mechanic has already changed some of these so i would change the oth...
