Re: Fuel hose problems
Thought so. Sorry but that's cheap rubbish from Malaysia and costs about a £1 a metre. Ask for a certificate of conformity for the R9 specification and you won't get one! We have genuine R9 specification landing on Thursday from Codan and we will of course be selling this without the VW tax

Re: Hi top roof bed or not?
We have a high top and our children are 8 and 12 and both fit up there comfortably. We have a 1" memory foam mattress and then sleeping bags so they are pretty cosy. However, the 12 year old has decided she prefers a cab bunk even though they can both lay down and read in the high top bed. Our...

Re: Cheap dash cams
I'm after one after the 5 month battle with my last claim when some idiot pulled right out in front of us. Trying to cliam we were speeding  Even if you were, that shouldn't excuse him from pulling out in front of you. If anything, it makes it even more stupid of him - unless, of course, he'...

Cheap Ebay Injectors
I'd say those eBay ones are fine. They are new too rather than remanufactured and I only found one comment on the entire internet (on Amazon I think) that was negative about SMP. Clearly they're widely used injectors and trusted in many parts of the world. They've been in business 90 years. Bosch? ...

Re: Cheap Ebay Injectors
No idea how long they have been on the engine as I have recently fitted the engine into my van second hand. Impressive website and youtube video your google must work better than mine  Am I right in saying the genuine injectors have a green body? Just been out to check and my current injectors...

Cheap Ebay Injectors
2 of my injectors have started leaking fuel so started to look for replacements. Genuine ones from VW Heritage are £170 each! Went over to Ebay and saw these at £15 each! http://www.ebay.com/itm/221517995063" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Guessing they arn't genuine! But at...

Re: Crank pulley torque setting
I have the same situation.. and tightened it as much as I could with a breaker bar not a torque wrench no issues in seven years Thanks. I had to use a metre 1/2" breaker bar on my back with both hands and my feet on the chassis! It was a right battle! So I guess I'll do the same in reverse and...
