AFN running issues
Evening all, My AFN converted van has a running issue, I left it at my parents house over winter and went to move it last weekend. It started fine and initially drove okay as well, but it started to not always create boost, some time you had it other times not, staying in gear and actuating the thro...

Re: Westfalia canvas replacement
Jed, which Go westy canvas was that? They do 3 or 4 different versions from what I can see. How was the fit - it looks kind of loose in the video.

tyre pressures with porsche wheels
Afternoon,
I have just fitted some porsche wheels to my van, I now have:
Fronts: 225/50/17
Rears 245/45/17
Now what tyre pressures do people run with tyres this size? I am assuming that the pressures will need to be lower with the increased surface area.
Cheers

Re: TDI mpg vs engine temp
I will be collecting data slowly - rather then driving slowly, as I dont use it every day. Correcting the speedo - its bang on at 62mph/100kph, but the out either side by a small amount. So how do I correct for that? but its odo we want isn't it? The only thing to check is the odo is it over reading...

Re: TDI mpg vs engine temp
I have run another tank of fuel through mine now with the longer gearbox. probably 1/3rd motorway at 75-80mph, 1/3rd city, 1/3rd A roads and it returned 39.3mpg - still mighty impressed.

Re: Heated front screens
Ricky evans is the company I have found - anyone know any others? its a little disappointing to hear that they are not so good, and take a long time to heat up.
Can you quantify this statement and say compare it to your rear screen assuming its heated too?

Re: Heated front screens
Its water cooled and the heating works fine - but a heated screen would be better and make life easyer
