Bought the "France Passion" book/membership for 2011 but unsure whether a Westy brick is really a motorhome.

Just bought and had serviced in Brighton a 1989 T25 Westfalia TD camper. The garage is suggesting/advising we replace the hoses from rad to engine. Apparently the plastic hoses are no longer available and they are offering metal replacements. They are quoting £500 for the job. Has anyone come across...
