If anyone can tell me where all these vacuum pipes should start and finish I'd be grateful. Gave my Haynes away with van and can't see any images online. I see that the big seal runs along the back of the engine bay, what's its purpose?

Re: 1.6 or 2.0?
Broke my leg last year and have lots of screws and plate so I need an auto. Early autos aren't very common so I think Ill go and look. Is the seal from engine to engine bay?

Re: 1.6 or 2.0?
His 1.9 DG is an auto, no mention of the Aircooled gearbox. It's all there in the pic! The yellow plastic label is the dipstick & fill tube for the auto box. I don't think he has a DG any more as he sold it once it became too reliable - hence the desire for an aircold? [emoji12] Sent from my O...

Re: 1.6 or 2.0?

1.6 or 2.0?
Never had an Aircooled. Can anyone tell me if this is 2.0 or 1.6? As far as you can tell from a photo does it look OK and not messed with?

Re: T25 Automatic transmission
Probably best bet. Looking at current Prices I think I sold mine below market. A nice family bought it so I’m not going to cry over spilt milk. I didn’t realise all LTs were manual when I sold mine. An LT was plan A. Probably moving outside Ulez now anyway! However I don’t think it’ll be that long b...

Re: T25 Automatic transmission
Could be handy, Wavertree said they don't do T2 transmissions (which I'm looking at to get round ULEZ, problem is that I prefer T25s). Don't know why as it's basically the same.

Re: Automatic gearbox advice?
Just emailed Paul at Wavetree about a T2 I'd found but he doesn't do them. The good thing with Wavertree is that if something isn't right they keep at it until it is (unlike the Southend bodgers who take your cash and cut you adrift)

Re: Fridge on Gas
Guess you will have to wait and see if the new owners join and update on the fridge issues .... I let them know the fridge would need replacing before they bought the van. They were thinking of removing it a and putting in coolbox. If I'd kept it I'd have fitted a solar panel and gone for a modern...

Re: Fridge on Gas
Thanks. I've been doing that for a few days and can hear the liquid running. Managed to break a hinge by being too enthusiastic.

Re: Fridge on Gas
Thanks. I had seen this but cant see the rm212, if it's the same as the RM 24 mines right,m I did set it 3" from the flame whereas it should have been bottom of the flue. What baffles me is that it the fridge now works for a few hours then stops, even though ithe fridge hasnt moved. I've been m...

Fridge on Gas
I'm going to have another crack at getting it working on gas. It works fine on hook up and on 12v. It works on level ground or is the van is leaning to the left( front on) but any lean to the right, it stops working. I've cleaned out the burner and jet with air and it sparks fine and it ignites quic...
