Also my insurance renewal (with 2gether) came through at £125. Rang them and told them engine changed from 1.6 to 1.9 and because I've changed it myself and not had it done professionally renewal went up to £180!!! Looks like I'll be getting alternative quotes. I had that problem, am sure it was the dip/main switch on the steering column.

another thread hijack....what throttle cable are you using? is it just a standard one? As I have the same setup on mine and the cable is knackered, has been joined before with one of those little electrical cable connectors

Which throttle cable?
My 1982 CU engined camper is running twin Dellorto drla 40's. Do I just get the throttle cable for a CU engined bus? Or is it shorter or longer?

quick update on this. Went armed with a meter and a bit of wiring diagram downloaded from internet. Fuses...........good Bulbs..............good light switch on dash........good hmmmmmm :?: Had already replaced the indicator/main/dip switch But wait....it only acts as a lever for the main/dip..........

If you've got the old style clip-in fuses just check one hasn't popped out of the clip and is in the glove-box. thanks for the reply, but nope, fuses are good. Also it would mean 2 fuses for both lights to not work. I think am going to be busy with a meter tomorrow, wish I could find that stupid ha...

Stripped down the switch and it was as filthy as a porn star convention in there. Cleaned it as best as I can and now the wipers self park, and I sometimes get fast speed. Waiting on switch cleaner coming, which I had coincidentally ordered for another project entirely, and hopefully will be sorted....
