?? a Fuel tank problem ??
My camper use to be 1.9 petrol injection however converted to carb after many many years of unreliability problems. Just prior to the conversion the fuel tank was replaced as it had been thought the old fuel tank was corroded and may have been causing a few problems, I was told the fuel tank for an ...

Re: Fuel Supply ?
Think it was electric whilst the injection system was on it but now its mechanical. My camper had a new fuel tank whilst still with the fuel injection about three years ago - I recall the VW garage at the time saying they had difficulty getting that particular tank ?? Many thanks

Fuel Supply ?
In March 2011 a local garage converted my 1.9 petrol (water cooled) from fuel injection to a pierburg carburettor - this was after ten years of intermittant problems with the injection system and a whole amount of money trying to get it sorted. Thankfully since the pierburg has been fitted and conve...

Re: Getting cheapest ferry tickets?
Have done three trips over fairly recent years (Dover / Calais), we also had a trailer attached and did get out of peak ferry times but nothing too severe honest. Dont think we pair more that £70.00 return on any of the trips. We did pay a few quid extra one year as we got to Dover ealier than plann...

Re: autosleeper decals
Hi Paul, glad to have come across your decals info, sadly mine are on the way out I think particularly the white faded effect above the windscreen. The remaining decals on mine are all gold - any chance you have any gold decals left?
Many thanks

Finally my camper is back on the road having been converted from a very unreliable fuel injection system to pierburg carb set up. Whilst my van is now running though can't say it is running smoothly, my van pulls fine when pulling away but isn't smooth at all when trying to maintain a speed. Does an...
