Great! big thanks for taking the time to check that out for me. i hope most of the wiring is already there but if not i now know what wires i need where. i'm going to have a go at that the weekend hopefully but priority is now the leaking master cylinder - so best do that first. i'll let you know ho...

I have a '87 diesel van that I've fitted a complete new dash pod with rev counter in. I know that the wiring to the multi connector that plugs into the dash pod is already there for the rev counter and I have found the connection on the alternator that I need to wire to. harry mann - should i be fitting a bleed valve as you have shown? whats the benifit in delaying waste gate - keeping boost longer i guess. will that make a big difference?

thanks all for your help. afraid i've still not got it sorted yet but hope to have a good look and get it right the wkend. i have a garrett turbo and a tee piece in the large diameter vacuum hose from the pump to servo which connects to my turbo. should i blank this off to cure my brake pedal proble...

Cheers guys, still a little confused and unsure. any one have a pic of there set-up they could post here or tell me where to find a pic showing the routes.

ebs, thank you. i'm just not sure what you mean by; brake vacum pump should only be connected to servo pipe.

I'll try to keep to the point here but for a bit of background; I bought a T25 DOKA as a non runner with the original 1.6TD engine in pieces in the cab with a knackered head. So I bought a 1.9TD engine from a 95 golf and dived in and went for the conversion, without too many problems. All seemed ok ...
