Re: Hi new forum member looking for some advice please....
Hi Welcome..... :ok The one line on the tank is meant to be blocked off. The other sounds right as you describe. I found this site excellent when I started out with my van. Have a good trawl through the 'wiki' at the top right of page..........there's loads of info there to keep you going for a whil...

Exhaust support bracket...any help?
Hi all I have just fitted a standard exhaust to my 1982 2.0 CU Aircooled bus. Can anyone advise if the system has or needs supporting brackets? It seems that the the whole system hangs on with no support to cylinder head studs from the manifold. This doesn't seem ideal as the silencer itself weighs ...

Re: Willfield Motors Abercynon
Thanks gsmoke
I phoned him earlier....seems to know his stuff.
You were right tho, he did say he couldn't get the bus on the rolling road and it didn't seem right to tell him oh yes he could!
Perhaps I'll pop in there for a gander before I get him to do anything.

Re: '81 T25 2L Solex twin carbs/return fuel pipe

Boxy your right!
However, I have considered putting a fuel line off it and 'teeing' it into the other one.......the idea being it would ease the amount of work the fuel pump has to do and also, (with the sh*tty tank I have) keep the fuel flowing if one side gets crudded up!

Help measuring solex float level
Hi all I have my solex 32-34 pdsit carbs on the bench with a complete rebuild kit and I'm nearly there. I'm having a blonde moment with checking the float level! I've read ratwells explanation of the rebuild which is excellent but vague regarding how to measure float level. can't get my head around ...

I recently recieved two pdsit carbs (inluding the chokes) from a fleabay seller in the usa. He accepted a reasonable offer and After postage and getti...

Re: t25 ignition fault
Hi..........I agree with Boxy,
Iv'e got the same engine and just had the same fault.
The pins in the two plugs from the idle stabilizer unit (the ones that can be plugged together) were well oxidized.
I cleaned em with some electrical contact spray and she fired up first time!

FUEL PUMP NOSSLES
Hi all I have a T25 2.0 Aircooled cu engine. I'm going to remove /bypass the cheap leaking 'sytec' pressure regulator in line with an electric pump on my van and see how the original mechanical one works. There are two brass fuel nossles on it.....one I assume takes the fuel pipe in from the tank an...

Re: Do you have rear belts in your Autosleeper ?
Out of interest............
I don't have rear belts in my camper.........obviously from safety point of view it's not wise to sit in the rear without belts but anyone know what's the law on this?
is a passenger allowed to travel in rear without them?
