Re: Three Point Seat Belts and Rock n Roll

If the seatbelts are anchored to the van itself then personally I don't see any advantage in having a 'crash tested' R&R bed fitted..... As long as the bed is fitted to the van correctly and securely. I am more concerned that the seatbelts in place are capable of doing the job they are designed ...

Re: Three Point Seat Belts and Rock n Roll

How old are your children? I take my 2 year old granddaughters out in the van now, after purchasing a couple of Britax Eclipse car seats. They are designed to be used with lap belts. I must say that fitted with lapbelts the seats are almost immoveable, compared to their own seats in their own car.

Re: Winter Campervan-ing`

Would be really interested to know what rating/size is used

Ours is a 900w nice and small, but does the trick. I like the fact it can be left on all night, no noise/fumes to worry about.

Re: Cooker Lid Won't Stay Up

You have the original sink, it's the hob that isn't. I have a Reimo interior in my scrapper, it has a spring mechanism at the base of the lid. If I can upload a pic, you will be able to see. (unless someone else can beat me to it  )

Re: Cooker Lid Won't Stay Up

Hi Lynne,

You have an original Reimo sink in grey, but the original grey hob has been replaced by the stainless one you have now.
Any chance you could mackle up some kind of retaining clip/hook yourself as a short term fix?

Re: air in fuel system Diesel

It can be a long process to find the source of an air leak, checking all the pipes, tank, every union, replacing every copper washer, checking the filter vacuum and housing, pump etc etc Which way do the air bubbles go when you switch off the engine? I ask because if they run back from the injection...

Re: Removing window winder on VW T25 Transporter

Sorry, I was being a tad wicked and guessed you meant a T25

Once you have the screw out, just pull. It's on a spline. Can be a bit awkward , you could always use a lever of some kind to give you a start.

Good luck

:D
