Re: Breakdowns on French motorways

It is organised by the police. The time I had to use it I was taken to a garage and my breakdown service later agreed for them to carry out the work so it did not cost me a cent. :ok

Re: Who would do this?

I knew the history of our Elite engine .. it came from a very highly trusted source. It had had new pistons and barrels, supplied to Elite by the former owner, the heads were reconned. It was pre-set up by Elite's customer, fitted by me with help from a chum in lifting it in. It was turn key and 2....

Re: blown sideways

first of all, no tyre company worth its salt would be unable to get your wheel nuts off.
secondly, they would know what the correct tyre pressure should be.
thirdly, if you are unsure of your ability to control the vehicle, you should not be driving the bloody thing!

Re: Fitting a multivan rock and roll bed.

we had a similar problem. my wife solved it by ripping out the old bed and putting in a futon. you can get futon matresses in several colours, they are cheap, and much lighter than a rock and roll bed. if you wish to do any interior altreations the bed simply slides out of the back door, and leaves ...

Re: Heater Blower replacement

i took my heater out last month, and yes. it does become a bit alarming.
however, once done you will never fear doing it again, because it isn`t half so difficult as it first appears.
good luck!

Re: Caravelle R n R matress thickness

don`t know the thickness off hand, but a futon matress is the same thickness, is more comfortable, and cheaper, has more width options, and a good variety of colours to choose from.

look at fleabay to give you an idea.
