I think I've found the problem,there was a pin sizeish hole in the top of the expansion tank which as it's pressurised was leaking through this and therefore loosing the coolant at quite a rate .
Hope this is it,I'm going to replace this,what's the easiest way of bleeding the system?

Thanks for the reply,I've just had a new interior put In nd now can't get to the engine bay so il have to get the grinder out to check the coolant level but having checked expansion tank is warm therefore does that lean towards coolant level being low in header tank and using the extra water in the ...

Overheating engine

Having lent my friend my van for a week,it's returned with a overheating engine,for some reason the fan hasn't kicked in nd the expansion tank is still full so I'm assuming the radiator is fine nd it's just the fan not coming on that has caused this?is there anything else that could also lead to the...

interior

Thinking of replacing/renovating what i think is the original interior on my 78 T25 Sheldon high top,any suggestions ideas on the best ways of going about this??im no carpenter so slightly limited in my ability to rip it out and start again.Cupboards,sink ,fridge area etc.

From Dolgellau,head along the coast towards Tywyn and just after Llwyngwril is Cae du campsite,stunning beach and walks,open fires,well worh a visit.

Hi Mike,
Still get a fair few bikes in Machynlleth,an ex biker myself,much more pleasure in the camper !Great surroundings here for camping,dont have to go far at all.

starter motor?

Hi all, A couple of weeks ago ,i went to start the van up and nothing,checked battery and it was dying so i replaced it with the same type ,but even after this it still wouldnt start.Took the conectors to the starter motor off and cleaned them ,still nothing,just doesnt want to turn over at all.any ...

Hi,having trouble uploading a picture,it does have the charging system on it on or 12 volt and then the three fuses on the other side and a battery status light,i must be missing something because i just assumed the interior lights etc would work when hooked up.Many thanks for your help,really appre...

Apologies for the lack of introduction and hello's,thanks for the welcome,proud to be a member.It is like the Zig unit and it only has a stater battery,no lesuire battery,having a bit of trouble locating all the wiring and even if it is connected to the battery ,but would of expected it to work off ...

We have just recently bought T25 Sheldon High Top ,there was not much paperwork with it and no manuals etc.electric hook up works fine to the 3 sockets inside,BUT cant get the interior lights to work ,checked usuals ,new bulbs,fuses etc,any ideas,it's a Logic 1 system.help!!
