Thanks for the link.
However, I think that shows you how to use the H-channel window seal that you use with panel van windows.
I've also been told to use a piece of rope to fit factory windows in a similar manner to windscreens...
I'll do a bit more googling!

Side window replacement
Hi all, Now I know this will have been asked a thousand times so apologies but I've looked in the Wiki and googled and just get adverts for window seals. I am repairing the side windows (Side and rear) frames and there is plenty of info on this but there seems precious little on getting the glass ba...

Re: Media Blasting vs Angle Grinding
I find these pretty good:
Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip Discs, (or rather the much cheaper unbranded versions).
They wear away quickly if you are not careful but are bettter than wire brushes which just seem to "polish" the rust.

Starter Battery recommendations
I am sure there was a thread on starter batteries but searches and looking at the Wiki has drawn a blank so I'm asking here. Need to replace my starter battery and looking for simple off the shelf suggestions. I believe the listed battery is a 36ah but I would like something with a bit more umph, wi...

Re: Viper powerspark
I cannot say personally but the likes of serran1955 are recommending powerspark in a recent thread about a 2l CU loosing power.

Lost keys
Not sure which board is best for this so I've stuck it in general. I've gorn and lost my keys. (Not used the van for a long time, but I now need to move it). I've searched the forum and there is a bit on locks..... It seems to suggest that if I can get the lock number I may be able to get a new key ...

slding door cover panel removal.
Hi all, I'm doing an offside "tall" rear wheel arch repair and so need to remove the panel above that on the nearside covers the slider mechanism. I've ground off the two siezed in self tappers so the bottom is free but can't see how to free the top... Is it twist out or tapped upwards wit...

Re: 1600CT oil leaks
An excellent idea.... I've got an old K&N filter somewhere. I was actually thinking of a more crude breather pipe which involved venting to the outside but your solution is much better. I keep reading stories of folk changing the rocker gaskets and finding the leaks worse when they finish but I ...

Re: 1600CT oil leaks
Hello. . Might be the angle of the picture but the air filter looks to be sitting too low (the breather pipe should run upwards from the breather tower to the air filter housing) WHS^^ Make sure the wire filter into the airbox from the crankcase pressure tube is not crushed,, Is there air in the oi...
