Not been in town much to drive my van but, gave it a little run last night to see what the problem was.

1. Didn't sound as bad as before.
2. Seemed to get worse straight after a turn.
3. Seems intermittent.

Will investigate more this weekend.

Bad but not terrible news. Managed to chip the windscreen on the m1 this weekend too.

Yep, thats exactly what happens. Braking distance seems fine though.

Whats the best plan of action, and is there an obvious way of narrowing it down to this by trouble shooting?

Hello Thought I'd ressurect this. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain, in laymans terms, why it would be a bad idea to replace the new style (carat/big bumper) rear bumper with an old style one. Struggling to find one under £200 (other leads went dead), and £70 for an old style one...

Bad use of words by me, it was a car parking lock, sort of pole shaped, locks in an up and down position, I dove over it, flicked into up position doh.
