Thanks I am registered to beetle cabrio owners club but their forum compared to this one is not as easy to ask questions and recieve replys. Ive always found club 80 90 and its members to be so helpful and the site is easy to browse around. Thanks for letting me stay...... :D My bug needs complete n...

Can i still get vw advise if i no longer own my t25??

Hi, ive now sold my 1980 t25 but still have a 1970 beetle cabrio.
Would i still be able to post questions and get advise on club8090, or is it strictly 80 90 campers??

thanks, i'll look into all of them, and even better that you've used them and they are recommended, im a bit of an amateur and get a bit nervous when handing a vehicle over to a stranger, i have got to feel i can trust a mechanic as i dont have alot of mechanical knowledge and i dont want to get rip...

I too am after a suitable polish for my high top to bring it back to shiny white, instead of nicotine yellow!
I havent looked for one as yet but have been recomended to look at the stuff caravaners and boaters use....will let u know if i find one!

At the moment im just after meeting a local Aircooled vw mechanic to discuss the issues with the beetle as the work wont be required to be done until june/july time..................any names ??? :?:

hi, im currently the owner of a 1981 t25 which im selling and a 1970 karmann soft top beetle which im keeping but needs an expert hand to get back on the road. Anyone know of a mechanic in or around the wimborne area in dorset ??

i want sharper breaking.......

good news, i just replaced the break servo on my 1981 t25, thanks for all your help people.
now....the servo does work and i can feel a real difference, but i still think the breaks could be sharper , they feel a bit spongy up to the point where i can feel the breaks working . any sugestions ?? :?:

HELP.....just received a replacement brake servo.....

i've just received a replacement servo for my 1981 1.9 t25 high top, its a used part but have got a 30 day gaurantee just in case !! its come with the fluid reservoir attached, does this mean i will have to blead the system and add new fluid?? also can any of you describe the procedure for replacing...
