Being a 19 WBX it will have a 8mm tank outlet, the 2.1 models were fitted with 12mm outlets. If you buy a decent aftermarket tank (brickwerks) it will have a 12mm outlet. If you are looking to change tank fit the 12mm, if you are going fuel injected, if not your 8mm outlet should run fine as is.

Hi Mig Just read your post relating to your exhaust set up, I know its too late for you as you have bought the parts, but for anybody else for future reference: Tip If you are going SB route from petrol van, buy the Late turbo pipe to back box pipe (with 3 bolt flange) Or GTI route - buy the exhaust...

Hi Jerry If the engine has no know H/G faults I would not take the head off, these engine's are robust, and will happily do high mileages, as long as it has had regular oil changes. Just fitted a new track rod end, I need the tracking re-adjusted, does anyone know the correct toe-in tracking alignment measurements for a 81 van?.
Ive fitted 15"cookie cutters on machine 7 adaptors so normal measurements may not apply.
