clutch to the floor
Just had a new clutch fitted, but I have found in order to change gear, I have to put the clutch pedal right down to the floor. On release there is an instant bite and very easy to stall the engine.. ? is this normal for a new clutch until bedded in or could there be another problem..?

Re: fuel pump
I had a similar problem a few weeks back, have you checked the fuel filter underneath the van, also could be a blockage from the fuel tank. My problem turned out to be a carburettor issue.....so may be worth getting that checked first.

Re: mobile mechanic Isle of wight
Hi mike,
thanks for your reply and helpful info, anyway I managed to get hold of Rob and he sent a low loader truck to collect the van. Rob ripped the old carb out and fitted me another.. so back on the road, and looking forward to a weeks holiday down at camber sands.
