Cobra Alarm
Hi, got a Cobra alarm fitted to my van. 89 Holdsworth DG1.9. Can anyone tell me where it connects to the ignition system as it's developed a fault and is stopping the power to the starter.
Thanks
Thanks

Exhaust jointing/down pipe gasket!
Got an 89 DG 1900 and need to replace the exhaust jointing/down pipe.
I know at the bottom where it joins to the silencer it has an exhaust gasket but what about the other end where it joins to the elbow. Is it the same gasket or a different one?

Water pipe identification.
Hi all,
Got an 89 1.9DG, petrol, (water cooled). Can anyone tell me what the thin metal pipe is called that runs just under the lip of the left half of the engine bay, from the back of the engine round to the expansion and overflow tanks?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Alternator Red wire
OK folks. Thanks for all your replies. It's a, 89 1.9 petrol DG watercooled engine. I've been told the red wire from the alternator should connect to the solenoid but not sure which connection of the three. A. The rear 'spade' connection that goes to the starter. B. The front small bolt. C. The cent...

Re: Alternator earth wire
Sorry, it's the red wire that's disconnected. Attached to the alternator but not the other end. Where exactly does it connect?

Re: Alternator earth wire
Van won't start now until I charge the battery!
Seems the battery isn't charging. Connections are good at the battery end so looked at the alternator and notices a wire unconnected. Presumed it was the earth. I'll try to get a photo up.

Alternator Red wire
Hi folks, Just noticed that my alternator red wire isn't connected. Is to the alternator but not the other end! Found this as my battery keeps going flat, not charging? Would this be the cause? All connections are good at the battery end and starts great when charged. Does anyone have a pic showing ...
