usually corrosion issue at the sender end, be aware that disconnecting the sender can, if the corrosion is bad, result in broken connection, the two pins for the plug are hard wired to the sender and bent through 90' in the white plastic plug socket moulding. Because the externals are in the wheel a...

Re: Loss of power and garage stumped by wiring
Have you checked for any fault codes, if SSM1 type diagnostics then it's flashing lamp code activated by connecting the read memory connectors together with ignition off and then switching ignition on and counting the flashes of the check engine lamp (or lamp in the wiring as some converters might n...

<r>There aren't many companies with the capital to design, test and order short runs of often slow selling stuff for 30+ year old vehicles, and Brexit has limited the import of some of the available European stuff, but that market has changed a bit due to TUV and other regulations and realistically ...

The ali cup tends to wear, especially when loosely coupled. Worth taking it apart and servicing, cleaning cup and ball, checking for ...

rear linkage picture, the bit of boot at the bottom is the remains of the skirt from a previous boot and can be removed and discarded, the boot at the top (251 711 167 E) needs the skirt pulling over the cup and pulling down so the tube part is on the alloy cup and the ribs are above, this is what I...
