Happy Crimbo all.
Like an massive eediot, I wiped the inside of my windscreen (car not van) to clear the condensation with my spare beret and the cap badge has scratched the inside. Tried to polish it out but still there. Anyone got any tips? Googled it but just putting it out there too.

Re: To cover or not to cover?
Thanks for the advise. Always useful stuff from this forum. I'm about 10 minutes from the sea so don't get salty spray really, plus the bus is kept in the back of the house and is sheltered. Would love to use it but I'll be about 4000 miles away so no chance of that (plus the wife is scared to drive...

Re: To cover or not to cover?
Yeah, good question, it's going to be outside, sheltered a little from the wind but outside.

To cover or not to cover?
Had a trawl through search but just after some other opinions really; Going away for 5 months (not prison! :)) over winter. Have had a cover previously that ripped so I binned it but now wondering whether to get another one or not? I put about 5/6 water absorber thingies inside to keep the damp out ...

Looking for a recommendation
Good morning campers!
We moved to Worthing, West Sussex about 6 months ago and i had the Komet booked into Beetle Werks for a service but they seem to have stopped trading. Is there anyone from this area who can recommend a decent garage for some work?
Thanks

Autohomes Komet seat question
Hi, My Komet is having some work done so I thought it a good time to re-upholster the rock & roll bed and back cushion. Just realised though that I don't know the dimensions and I can't get to the bus to measure. Is there anyone with an Autohomes Komet out there who could just measure the back s...

Re: Water thingy
CJH, that exactly how I see it! We have used the bus this year for pretty much all of the summer, including 3 festivals and a 12 night holiday. All the places have had a water point and if just a one night camp then the water container we take is enough. We use water for the kettle and pasta etc and...

Water thingy
Just enjoying a polishing session on the bus. Cleaning expertly around the water cap it struck me that since owning this bus (2 years) we have never used the water container, or even used the sink! In the bay we had before we probably used the sink 4 times in as many years! We use the van all the ti...

Re: Camping table (with chairs attached)
Many thanks for the replies. I have never heard of a roll up table before so am intrigued to check them out!
(bye the way, love Dublin! Did the Wicklow way last month, great walk)
Might have a proper look at the Go Outdoors one too.

Camping table (with chairs attached)
Hiya, Looking at getting one of thoses tables that fold out with seats attached. Looked at some on-line with lots of reviews saying they break easily, bend, take fingers off etc but same reviews say best thing ever etc ( these are aluminium ones from Go Outdoors-Quest tables) Anyone got one of these...

Re: High top vs Pop Top
Doesn't look cool! Loads of space for all the quilts, sheets, pillows we own. Constant head room. Less to do when you pitch up. Ace sleeping for two kiddies. Must admit, the wind is a factor but you get used it it. In our old bay we had a Devon Double top which gave us loads of space but stil...
