Tow Hitch wiring?

Greetings everybody, i'm going to fit my towbar in the next couple of days and am wondering if there will be any sort of connector block present/available to plug in the electrics or will i have to splice into the exhisting wiring? In the upper left hand side of the engine bay there is a black plast...

went for a short test drive and the van felt great-
No more BOUNCE!

I also took off two sections of the bump stop.

Good product and cheap.

Job done,
Used Harrymans hacksaw method in the end,
easy job with plenty of space to get a full sized hacksaw in,
I'd even say its quicker to just cut the nut off than to undo the dam thing!
cheers :D

Lavley, new user name! ade shall i call in the uni or your house and have you got a tow hitch on your van, I'm making one for mine, just need to check the mounting points. Cheers guys,

spotted in the machine mart catalogue a nut splitting tool for about 8 bucks
I'm gonna buy one to add to the tool collection :)
Even if i don't use it, i'm sure it'll come in handy one day, but it does seem to be the tool for the job!

Front damper-Top Nut -Siezed

Before i get the blow torch out (last resort), any handy tips on undoing the top nut on the front shock absorber? I've wd40'd it and tapped it to try to brake the rust seal, still no joy. That 6mm head is a bit of a let down you just can't put any force on it, rounds in no time  Mole grips see...

Towbar DIY

Hi guys, I'm gonna manufacture my own towbar mounting, just wondering where they normally fit?(1991 t25/3 1.7diesel) Had a look underneath and the most obvious/logical place would be to remove the bumper mounting brackets and use there fixing points. Then mount the bumper to my custom bracket. Is th...

Lowered 50mm-Bouncy-JK uprated shocks?

Hi guys n gals, I lowered my van a few years back(50mm) but never changed the shocks, hey presto bouncy handling I see JK do an "uprated" set at a reasonable price, does anyone know what they mean by uprated? I'm hoping that the damping would be increased over a standard setup as this woul...
