Bizarre Clutch Slave cylinder behaviour!
I have recently replaced my Clutch Master cylinder, due to fluid leaking into drivers footwell. On completion of this I tryed to Bleed the Slave cylinder to remove the air that undoubtedly would have entered the pipes. I loosened the bleed nipple a good whole turn and pumped the clutch having fitted...

Clutch Master Cylinder repair
Brake/clutch fluid is leaking out all over driver footwell and I have now determined it is the Clutch master cylinder not the the brakes. I haven't removed the cylinder yet to examine it but I presume I need either a replacement unit or a repair kit. Has anyone had experience of a repair kit and any...

Brake fluid puddles problem
I have brake fluid leaking in the drivers footwell. It's coming from just where there is a small brake pipe, just above the brake pedal. If the van stands unused for a few days there is no leakage but if the van is used there is drips of fluid dripping off of the pipe. It is really difficult to see ...

Tell me about it! Started with a scored disc from a completely worn brake pad as the other piston on opposing side of caliper was siezed. I sum up the options and decide having read a bit about the subject that I have to replace the disc as it was too badly scored. OK that means I need to change the...

Leisure Battery Charging
Can anyone help on this one?. We are off on a trip shortly and I would like to get the leisure battery to work on tow charge. The battery did charge when I first had the van but hasn't charged for about the last year. Van is a Holdsworth conversion fitted with a Warner CTF 5000 electrics unit. I hav...

Strange Engine Noise - Is it Tappets?
Every now and again the engine when started up sounds like a bag of rattley old spanners and doesn't sound like it should for about 5 miles of use. It seems to do it after the van hasn't been used for a few days. I can't remember it doing it in the first 2-3 years of ownership. I presume it must be ...

Bleedin nipple problem
Its not as bad or as painful as it sounds but a problem none the less. Have got to the final stages of reassembling brake calipers and fitting them back on the van. Went to try and remove the bleed nipple from the caliper and its stuck fast. Corrosion being a big problem with brakes, all the carp an...

Brakes
I have a problem with my brake calipers. I would like to try and repair the existing calipers rather than buy new or exchange ones. Does anyone know how to expell a single piston from its bore if the other one has been removed. I got my local garage to try and remove it but they failed to. The flexi...
