Ah ok great cheers! Just spoke to the garage, they're going to get it up on ramp tomo and have a wire brush to it! Fingers crossed.

Does anyone recommend getting a replacement or have it fixed and rebuilt?

Hi Y'all :) MYthrottle cable has started to randomly stick, I tried re-lubricating it a month or so ago and was good, for a week or 2 now is worse than ever. So, am going to do what i should've in the first place and replace it.... was just wonderin.... as its a 1990 diesle with a 1.9TD 1994(Passat)...

Yeh toying with that idea, but the small pocket of cash i've got to lavish on my van b4 the summer might not stretch to a brand new bed... trying (for once) to be wise with me cash! maybe the wise thing to do is getting a new bluebird one...?

Would an old RnR bed that i think cam out of an old bay, fit into my T25. Whats the difference in hight of the bulkhead levels, can it be done?? any advise would be greatfully recieved. Ta.

They've quoted £450, does that sound about right to anyone, I'm no mechanic by a long long shot but try to get things done myself if i can save a few £ :) but this is way beyond me. ahh yeh something like that, does the chair slide on that base (which is wonderfully furry btw! ) or does the whole thing move.
