I have the replacement part, when I find out how to post a pic I will  really just need confirmation on how to access it to cut and replace, I’m thinking from above I have to remove the floor edge above it im going to clean the paint off it see if I can locate the spot welds. thanks for all your rep...

Sliding door sill replacement

Hi,
im about to replace the sill under the sliding door, the one with the bottom runner on for the door 
do I have to take off the floor panel above it to gain access? How is this fixed, I’m guessing it’s spot welded?
what do I have to look out for?
any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
Im going to take the top off my van as I've Boroscoped it  and found rust, not sure how bad it is, i guess ill find out.
How did you separate the hi top from the bodywork?
Did you find any panels or did you make them yourself?

Just a normal EP2, or any grease you have to hand really. Its not high revs or load bearing :ok
