Boot Hatch Size
Hi, Can anyone tell me the size of the tailgate opening from the top to the load area (engine lid) at the bottom please? I'm not with my van at the moment and I'm trying to figure out if I can fit a bookcase in. It won't go in flat because of the cupboards but I was wondering if it would go in on it...

Re: Kevtherevagon
I'm very impressed with your work! Our van is the same colour which we were thinking of changing but from looking at yours, I think it's just a case of removing stickers etc. you may have convinced me to keep it! One question, what colour is it exactly as I've got a couple of bits to sort and can't ...

Rear Seatbelt Question
Hi, When looking through the vents on a bus with rear seatbelts, can the bolt be seen? People mention the 'dimple' in the vent of a van where the mounting should go but I have three in an upside down, reversed 'L' shape. Was just wondering if I was lucky enough to already have the mounting points or...

Re: Burning rubber
I only get it on one section of uphill road on the way to work, maybe the smell if from outside and someone burns rubber? I had this happen to me in an old Golf. I used to wonder why my car started stinking of electrical burning every day on the way to work. Took me ages to realise I was always in ...

Re: Burning rubber
I can confirm that it is none of the above! Ha
Still no idea what it is, definately a rubber smell, I was thinking maybe the radiator hoses or even the spare tyre? No idea!!!

Burning rubber
Quick question:
What would produce a burning rubber type smell from the front of the van after the radiator fan has cut in?
Thanks
Dan

Re: Fuel Tank and pipe replacement
Ah yeh, should've included that info really. It's a 1989 petrol carb so I know the correct parts to get, just wondering if anyone could give a list of the best bits to replace whilst I'm under there? Basically, I want to have all the bits with me when I do the job so I don't start something I can't ...

Fuel Tank and pipe replacement
Hi,
Say I was going to go a bit mad and replace everything to do with the fuel tank and pipework in that area, can anyone tell me exactly what I would need?
I'm not planning on changing the expansion tanks though or the balance line.
Thanks!!

Auto gearbox dipstick location
Hi all,
Whereabouts is the automatic gearbox dipstick? To be honest, I haven't had much of a look yet but wanted to know before I do a check over of the van.
Thanks

Re: power steering
Hi,
Sorry to resurrect a post. How exactly does this kit work and is it easy to fit or best left to the experts? Does it need a power steering pump/pipework etc to be fitted? Looks different to the usual set up.
The missus struggles to park!
Thanks
