You should only need to undo the top ball joint on the fronts and sring compressors are recomended

If you pull all the wiring back into the dash tape all your new wiring up you can get a head unit to fit in your dash, Ive managed to do it twice with no major hassle

Some times the alternator light will not come on even if its not charging. If the bearing have fell apart inside its not likley the light will come on.

It could just be a bad earth , bad battery terminal etc

Start the van up and with a multimeter over the battery terminals rev the engine, see if your getting 14v or there abouts and if it fall and riseses when reving the alternator is fine, if its reading about 13.3v thats the battery voltage and if when running the voltage dosent rise then your alternat...

They use Boge Springs and standard piston oil shocks.
