Re: Hook up confusion and Zig lights!

Thankyou! We are learning as we go along! Suspected the Zig unit only showed the status of the Leisure battery, but we weren't sure.

I love this forum :)

Hook up confusion and Zig lights!

Hi all, hoping you can help! We are confused with our hook-up in our van - 1990 LeisureDrive HiTop. Even though we are hooked up to the mains, at the moment we are only getting the red 'low power' indicator on the Zig CP400 Unit. Does the Zig Unit only measure the charge left in the Leisure battery?...

Cornwall to The Lake District - recommendations?

Hi everyone We'd like to take our van to the Lake Distict this summer and it's an area we've never visited before. We have a full seven days to tour and want to take our time, planning some stops along the way, with about three nights there, then leisurely back again. We're happy to wild camp for th...

Anyway I'm happy cause it didn't cost much money and now we have no more oil pu...

Re: Just an oil leak, or worse?

Even if this isn't the cause of the problem, seeing as it states they are in need of replacement, we'll probably do it anyway. :) Feeling a little more positive now.

Re: Just an oil leak, or worse?

Sorry - yes a 1.6 diesel water cooled. It doesn't look good. The engine is covered in oil and needs steam cleaning before we can get to see what the problem is. After looking at extensive paperwork provided by the previous owner, it does state that the "turbo oil feed and return pipes heavily c...

Just an oil leak, or worse?

Hi all Firstly I'm a newbie and know next to nothing about mechanics etc although I'm learning as I'm going along! We've only had our van about three weeks and yesterday what was a small oil leak (that we managaged by topping up regularly) turned into a rather bigger oil leak that sprayed fine dots ...
