They won't fit, the code starting '1H' denotes Mk3 Golf/Vento. Both 4 and 5 stud Mk3's had a 100mm PCD.

I have many of the symptoms listed above, but the engine is in good order. I have suspected the turbo for a while, whilst tinkering the other day, I found a lot of play on the turbo shaft. Next week I'm having a new turbo fitted, I normally do everything myself but for the price its not worth me wre...

Mine was UK registered at the end of May, having previously passed an MOT. It was inspected and approved in Bristol with a KPH speedo and masked headlamps, if it is of any help.

I have a installation and operating manual if that would be any use, it has no troubleshooting section in it though.
