Bit of an update, solenoid checked out to be working ok, so have just ordered a new fuel pump to see if that stops the dual fuel problem.

The oil doesn't smell of petrol does it ?! If the pump diaphragm is failing it may dump petrol into the oil thinning it down ? Immediate attention required !
