Re: immobiliser
hi folks Thought I'd drag up this old thread as I also need a Cat 2 Thatcham approved immobiliser fitted to my 1986 T25. Have searched through the forum and the only recommendations I can find are in this thread, and a reference to Safe & Sound Mobile in another. ToadAlarm (recommended here) are...

Re: Fridge service
Westfalia fridge service... Beware when filling an underslung tank (ALWAYS) make sure that the gas tank supply valve is turned off. Due to these tanks being quite old they have a certain amount of c**p inside them. Because of the high pressure used whilst filling, it will blow all sorts of c**p int...

Yep, I think this is one of the perenial problems, Mine doesnt overheat and is sufficiently full of water but the light does occasionally flash, and days can go by and then it will have a flash, , as mocki says check things and if all is well then its a case of getting top know the vagaries of your...

Yet again, thanks Mocki! :) Am very much a novice so am not sure what the sender plug or sender look like, but I'm sure it'll be pretty obvious when I have a look. (i.e. the thing with the wire(s) in it in the exp tank). Ditto multiplug, but again I'll look under my, in my case left knee (LHD!) and ...

Thanks Mocki, that's really useful. The garage said the coolant level was a bit on the low side and they filled it up 2 days ago so i didn't think to check it. Will do so first thing tomorrow and top up to the max if it's a bit low. Apologies for this thread btw - I did do a search earlier and could...

overheating light comes on, but needle only halfway??
Hi all. OK, so I've been having some problems with the cooling system in my 1.6 TD T25. Briefly: A hose conecting the top up tank to the exp tank (see pics in this thread: https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29361&highlight= perished a few weeks ago, and it had a temporary repair. All s...

Thanks edoh. I have looked at the wiki, but it didn't really give me the info I'm after. It's a bit confusing for the non technically minded... ;) I do need to get hold of a Haynes Manual, but they don't seem to do them for diesel models like mine (1986 water-cooled diesel 1.6 TD). Closest I can fin...

replacing a coolant system hose
Hi folks! One of the hoses in my coolant system has perished and needs replacing. There's a temporary fix on the persihed section at the moment, but it won't hold out forever. Sadly I know *nuffink* about engines and the like, so I have no idea how to go about finding and fitting a replacement. Can ...

i have replied in the other post, please stop posting two of everything, its just wasting bandwidth and confusing.......... if its in the wrong place we can move it........... Thanks for the reply. :) Btw, if Bandwith is an issue, I'd suggest fewer animated sigs / animations all round. That'll save...
