Hi Herb I understand the forum is having troubles with photos so hopefully you won't go off the boil and as soon as it's fixed I can send the photos but the only place the whole system with the blue light seems to work correct is when I touch it to the yellow wires in number three

Right so I've located the blue wire and I've tried it in every configuration but it's still coming on on low Beam but if I move the blue wire a long to fuse number three all is well but there is no spade to connect too.quite what's going on I don't know

Blue high beam light comes on when low beam is activated
Blue high beam light comes on when low beam is activated, switch to high beam and the blue light goes out. Basically it is doing the opposite to what it should. Ist stage click on the light switch and the side lights work but the blue high beam light come on :shock: Read a lot of posts but electrics...

I would be inclined to give the starter a good clean, its probably bone dry, some lube will help, diesel engines are much higher compression than petrol engines therefore the starter takes a good hammering, try whats been suggested and check your earths but start looking for a replacement as bump st...

Oldie what your saying might be correct as the diesel starter wouldn't need a bearing due to the dome design and the bearing being self contained. The old starter is the same design as the new unit straight spigot no dome. I've fitted it and it works. Would a diesel bell housing fit a wbx dg engine?...

Pierburg carb problem DG engine
I have put a new rebuild kit in the pierburg carb, the van idles good and steady when warmed up but when cold starting the engine wont idle, the choke must be on as you can smell it in the burnt exhaust fumes, but runs rough its almost like its over choked any ideas what to look at?
