We took our van to Germany over Christmas and slept out in various car parks for 3 nights on the way. On the coldest it got down to -3 in the van, and while we were warm enough in our duvet and fleece blanket laden bed, getting up was another thing! On that particular night our gas froze (note to se...

I was thinking that what we need is a cover for the potti for making it look a bit less potti like when we are in transit. Something like a 'throw', possibly with a cushion on the top so we can use it as an extra seat. You may laugh, but actually when we were travelling about this summer ,we had gue...

brilliant if you have 2 bottles - keep one indoors connected up to your van, and then take the spare outside with your burner for outdoor cooking experience. Most excellent - and cheap as chips!

hey dbroada, sorry for the delayed reactions there - you know how it is :) A meet up sounds nice - we are terrible at being sociable (we went to the Bus Stopover and didn't talk to a sole) so this will be good for us :) I'm not saying that we are anti-social or anything, just that we aren't very goo...

Sounds fab Glenn. We went from Camberley to Calais via Dover, down to see the Tour de France at Col de Joux Plain then Chamonix (which was fab), across Italy (which we didn't like so much), into Slovenia (which was really lovely), through Austria (not too great), into Czech Republic (can beer really...

July onwards (archived months on the right hand side)) and there are lots of photos in there I can use!! The van does R...

Hello, we have just returned from a big trip (see my post!) and we wouldn't have coped without our centre storage thing. I bought a black folding box thing from Lakeland (just looked, they don't seem to have them any more unfortunately) but it had a non-slip base and fitted lovely between the seats ...

Broken brake bleed nipple!
Hubby has just broken one of the rear bleed nipples off our T25 and is in a bit of a quandry about what needs to be done to fix it. Does anyone know ? Will it need drilling out? If so, how do we get at it to do that? What recommendations then for retapping and stopping? Is it easier to just replace ...

We have a T25 and have had this problem as well - driving along, all is well and then the temp needle rockets up and the light starts flashing. Usually if you turn the ignition off and on a few times it seems to 'reset' itself. Unfortunately we had a real temperature emergency the other week (fan be...
