Re: Stiff Syncro Steering

I have more or less the same "stiff" steering, my VC is thight. Therefore I have to replace my VC, install a decoupler or remove the propshaft. I choose for a decoupler (I know, I know,...) but it is not yet installed. With this I can keep running on my AT tires as they have a different pr...

Re: temp2 switch for alu housing

I have been looking around and I can only find this: http://www.gasgoo.com/showroom/chenali/auto-products/1189828...

temp2 switch for alu housing (solved)

Anyone knows if the temp2 sender is a switch or a sender?

I'm looking for a screw-in temp switch for a alu thermosstate housing. Can't find one at brickwerks or JK?

thank you.

alu temp housing, other senders?

Hello all, I will replace my plastic thermosstate housing with a alu one for my syncro. It will be used on a late 1.9 DG. The old one (pvc) has got 2 senders with retaining clip, 1 for the gauge in the dash, 2nd is a switch to cut off preheater element from carb. I notice now that the alu housing ha...

Re: thight VC at MOT?

they spin the left and right wheels in opposite directions.. thus the VC never sees the rotation.. if they do not spin opposite, then the VC will load, drive will go the the other end and the vehicle should shoot off the rollers... NOT GOOD... I see. Last time the van didn't shoot off the rollers a...

thight VC at MOT?

Hi. Some silly questions but I don't see it for the moment...(i did earlier...) •Does the propshaft turns when both rear wheels are on a brake-test-rolling-thing and the gearbox is in neutral? Can one rear wheel be turning around without activating the propshaft? •Does the propshaft turns when the f...

Re: coolant shower while lifting

Damn, I should have complained immediately. I was a bit nervous because I went for the 1st time and had been working on it for 2 years now. I need to pass a complete measurement and check procedure to achieve a "uniformity" attest. I 'll check my rubbers tonight and go back, try to get the...

He got a hot coolant water shower from the moment the van was lifted. (he’s not harmed) MOT guy: “ what the f*c...
