Can anyone recommend a T25 service/repair garage in the South West, ie Bristol/Weston Super Mare area? Thanks.

Re: High Top Roof Paint?
Cheers Dazco. I thought there might be some special kind of 'rubberized' paint out there, like I saw some yanks on YouTube painting the roof of their gineormous RV with.. but people seem to swear by this stuff, so I'll go with it. If roof works out ok I might do the whole van with it, being piston b...

High Top Roof Paint?
Hi, I'm fixing up the exterior and want to start with the roof, which has minor leak issues.. It's a fibreglass high-top roof and I'm wondering is there a specialist product on the market for painting them with, which will give better waterproofing protection than standard auto paint? Having it look...

Non returning brake pedal
I'm about to attack my brakes, calipers service kit in hand.. But part of the problem is that the pedal isn't returning fully when you take yr foot off.. and hooking a toe under it to pull it back up DOES seem to release the brakes a tad more.. Will replacing the old fluid in the lines cure this, or...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder
The mystery deepens.. I can't fathom how you could take an angle grinder to the bolts when I had to take an angle grinder to the bulkhead just to reach the bolts! Found a new slave cylinder for 30+pp.. When did u buy one for 12, 1981..?!

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder
Still 'in progress'.. Had to take an angle grinder to the van to remove a bit of the bulkhead so that I could actually reach the thing AND get a spanner on it.. Unreal!
Been quoted E75+vat for a new one over here in Ireland. Seems a bit steep?

Clutch Slave Cylinder
Mine leaking, needs replacing.. I consulted the Wiki, which advised me to start by jacking up the van & remove RH rear wheel, so I did.. to discover the slave cylinder is actually to be found on the other (ie left) side of the gearbox.. Uhh?

Re: excessive heat coming from front passenger wheel
Au contraire, mon ami: Warping a disc is quite easy on a T25. (the rueful voice of experience..!) Procrastinate over this job at your peril..

Re: are all the T3 5 speed boxes interchangeable?
Hi, I have recently acquired a camper converted 1979 Microbus, originally 1.6 petrol Aircooled but now with 1.9 VW Vento diesel engine fitted. The new engine is fine, but it still has the original 4 speed gearbox, giving me a very low cruising speed.. :( Any recommendations as to where I could lay h...

5 Speed Gearbox
I have recently been finishing an unfinished 1980 project van I bought. It has been fitted with a VW Vento 1.9 Diesel engine, with the 4 speed box from the original 1.6 petrol engine, resulting in a high revving diesel engine trying to cruise at 60+. It also 'crunches' into 3rd.. I recently spotted ...
Interior
I've just bought my first camper, an unfinished T25 project. It's running, mechanically, with a VW Vento 1.9 Diesel engine now replacing the original. Having had the side panels and roofs reupholstered I am now at the stage of replacing the interior furniture units, which is either knackered or miss...

Re: Bull bars
Thanks CovKid. Maybe I'll think again about that idea! Don't wanna be mangling anyone cos of my vanity ('scuse the pun.. Maybe that should be a forum heading?!) although there's not much room for a crumple zone anyway on a T25. Speaking of road safety, my landlord's dog got run over outside the hous...

Does anyone make or supply aluminium or galvanised bull bars for T25?
