Re: Recommendations for bodywork in Gloucestershire
Thanks Tony. One of the body shops took it in for half a day and went over the whole van and, from what they listed from that inspection, I wouldn't take it on as a self-help. Some of it is cosmetic on the body [panels but some if more structural underneath.

Recommendations for bodywork in Gloucestershire
Evening All. We have a 1980 T25 Joker Westy camper. Had it for about 12 years now. It had a fully bodywork job about 6 years ago, but many of the panels are showing some early signs of blistering around the seams, so it looks like it may not have been the best job. I've approached a few bodyshops in...

Re: Replacement fridge for Electrolux RM182
Once again thanks for all the earlier comments. As a result of the discussion, I sent it off to a fridge service place. they tried to get it lighting but have failed to be able to do so. They suspect the fault lies in the inlet gas valve, possibly contaminated by some 'bad gas' that was apparently i...

Re: Replacement fridge for Electrolux RM182
Hey guys. Firstly, many thanks for the ideas. I haven't decided yet. Regarding, what's wrong with it - good question. When we first got the van - 5 years ago - it didn't work at all. I took it out, had it serviced by a propane gas shop, turned it upside down and got it working after a fashion. But I...

Replacement fridge for Electrolux RM182
Apologies if an earlier post covers this, but I'm finally thinking of replacing my original RM182 with a modern fridge unit. The fridge is part of a Westy fit out of a 1980 Joker. Any recommendations for a replacement for the RM182 that fits the original dimensions. Open to options on power sources....

Re: Replacement RM 182 fridge
Original works on 220v and 12v. Had the gas serviced and has been working. Plunger just failed, presumably on seal. We tend to camp where gas is required and with two little kids, I just need it to work as required. Will put the original back in if/when I get it working. Anyone out there put a new u...

Replacement RM 182 fridge
I'm thinking of replacing our original RM182 with a new fridge. Any recommendations for new fridges that fit the original Joker h.w.d measurements?
thanks, Paul.

Re: Captain's seat stopped swivelling
Sorted. Took it off and put it back on. More Microsoft than cause and effect. Might be linked to the tightness of the 4 nuts on the base? The drivers seat on this one definitely won't go past 90 degrees. At 90, the rear of the seat is hard up against the side of the wheel. It isn't even close. Must ...

Re: Captain's seat stopped swivelling
Nice idea, but it's the driver's seat. It rotates through 90 degrees and that's it.
thanks for the thought though.

Harsh but fair.
Right, back to the drawing board.

Captain's seat stopped swivelling
Recently had the drivers seat (LHD) off my 1980 Joker to switch out the leisure battery. Didn't take it all the way out, as the press down arm that actuates the rotating base appeared connected in a way that was unclear to me. So just moved it over enough to allow access. On reconnecting, the seat n...
