Hi
I went from 1.6 CS to a 1.9 AEF (Skoda felecia n/a) and the difference was very pleasing ... so the turbo will pep it up even more

Re: Mattress for side opening pop-top
Hi, The Devon has two board made from a hardboard skinned egg box cored board, quite light with a about 3" of foam velcroed to the top. The board is very similar construction as an interior door, not the strongest but OK for kids to sleep on. Regards Pete Hi My 1982 devon also has x2 boards (o...

Re: Wandering rear seat cushions Devon Conversion
ooh that sounds an interesting fix I was thinking velcro sewn to the covers might allow the cushion to twist slightly disfiguring the look of the covers poppers and a triangle pocket might well be the answer. A couple of my other wheeled projects are taking more of my attention right now .... but I ...

Wandering rear seat cushions Devon Conversion
Hi Always had this issue but would like now to solve it somehow. Odd question but is a niggle that I'm sure has a simple answer The seat cushions tend to slip and slide about - when in position there is a void where the back edges of both seats meet I am thinking of sticking a piece of carpet to the...

Re: "Fake" curtains ???
Thanks both for your thoughts... I will ponder on it some more before deciding on what to do I do like the furnished look that curtains give the van and as its a proper camper conversion (Devon) - and there are some nice retro patterns available - just didn't fancy all the work that goes into making...

"Fake" curtains ???
Hi A few years ago I redid the curtains on my 1982 Devon conversion... It was a pig of a job to get right, with hours of work on the sewing machine and fixing and bending the curtain track, sewing in the band to take the hangers etc etc... But having installed a full set of working curtains I have f...

Re: intrusive fuel pump noise
Thanks for that SB
If i find something that suppresses the noise I will post.
I don't mind - and quite like - the sound of the fuel pump to a degree ..... on my van it is a bit intrusive at times
All the best
