I need a new set of driveshafts for my 1981 van and have been offered a set from a late van, will these fit or are early/late vans drive shafts different?

Hi all, my rust bucket will be going in for a full bodywork restoration sometime this year so we would be very grateful if anyone could point us towards some tried and tested VW restorers preferably in the East Anglia area but would be willing to go further afield to get a quality job.
