Hi me again van still wont start i have changed 3 of the glow plugs just carnt get to the middle one under the pump the recovery man last night squirted plenty of plus gas down the air filter and after a bit it fired and ran ok i would of thought that if it fired with plus gas there must be heat on ...

Got her home looks like its the glow plugs
the relay that controls them or an air leak
how easy are the glow plugs to replace ? according to the recovery chap easy and they just screw in
is that correct ?

WONT START WAITING FOR RECOVERY
OH dear
havent had the van long and already waiting for the recovery truck
dont know why but it just wont start turned over and almost fired but just didnt catch
then would turn over but would not fire
so sat at work waiting for recovery
can a diesel engine be flooded ? any ideas guys ?

Thanks for your help guys you are a very friendly bunch on here the fuel gauge seems to work fine filled it up to about 3/4 when i baught the van and have diven it about 200 miles and has used about 1/3 of a tank top speed seems to be about 55 ish by my sat nav or 65 according to the van spedo will ...
