Re: Oil pressure problem...help please

I will presume you are relying on whatever gauge system you are using to tell you this. Are you certain the gauge setup is telling the truth??
Have You tried with a different device that doesn’t relay on any of your current components? ie a purely mechanical test kit??

Where are you located??

Re: Subaru flood water

Hi. I should have a 2.5 single cam ecu, loom etc available shortly. From a 2000 outback manual... if that’s any use??
Will know exactly what there is after weekend.
Cheers

Re: Heater matrix clean through

To be honest doesn’t sound like the heat matrix is causing the issue. It sounds like an air lock and if you have badly overheated the engine then the head or head gasket are prob toast and it’s combustion gasses blowing your coolant out... Flushing the heater matrix should be simple enough from the ...

Re: TDi AFN w flipped Passat box; CV issues

Does indeed. Or it’s running over the wear ridge that’s developed from where it’s been running the last year. ... Worth checking if the cv joints are “clocked” plenty of vids on YouTube” What cv’s are used?? Are they are t3 ones or the Passat inners? The 944 cv’s are slightly wider and allow more cv...

Re: That Subaru in the German Trial, and other potentials

XV got 2L turbo as most powerful and still cost too much
Tribeca cheap but not great for trailing apparently.
Leggy works, improvements can be made. My H6 is pretty well stock so lots could be done.

Re: That Subaru in the German Trial, and other potentials

Not all Subaru’s are created equal and not all traction controls are created equal..

The H6 outback has Subaru VDC “vehicle dynamic control” which works much more effectively than most others in difficult conditions.
As Silverbullet says. It utilises the abs system to brake each wheel.

Re: Camper Jam Syncro rides for charity 6-7 July

Hi
Sure it was said ages back. Cook your speciality/fave thing to cook.
Plus a side or desert of some sort.
We might get a couple of similar dishes. But that’s ok.

Does that sound like a reasonable plan?
