thanks, that would have been perfect, but its 4 hours from me. if the van manages to pass its retest today, i can make it down to chester to get them done, but if it fails the emision test, then i'm stuck as i wont be able to get it there. does anyone know of anyone who refurbs carbs closer to kent/...

as everyone says buy on bodywork.. but if the price is right just go for it , as welding isnt that expensive.. and roller painting is cheap as cheeps. mine had a few big holes.. but they are all sorted now except paint.
