Get pull injector rail out hold a4 paper under Injectors to check spray pattern

Some larger insurance approved bodyshops wouldn't touch it due to it's age and the headache it would be to them, the carsnagenic line is a get out claus. It's really up to you, what you think it's worth and the offset payment that they offer as settlement, against the cost of repair, just about ever...

Many ways to sort your issue. Depends how handy you are. Full arch or just the half arch, patch it or glass it. If you go full or half arch, remember you are disturbing vw sealer that's been there from the year dot. Once you clear all the sealer and remove the arch you may find your b post is crusty...

sounds like a build up of crud on the carriers remove pads, clean the carriers with wire brush and big bit of elbow also inside of caliper and the pack of pads. buy ceramic brake grease apply to metal to metal contact areas and piston pad etc scrub of the pad glaze with a bit of 80 grit and reassemb...
