Hello all, just wondered before I go off and develop one, if anyone has already made a iPod / Phone holder that replaces the ashtray?

Thanks :)

Re: Stolen Syncro

Is it replaceable :(

Thanks of wise ones :)

Bought a pair a couple of months back from Heir Brickwerks and as im changing all the fuel lines thought i had better fit them (plus the old ones are swiss cheese) Are the top bolts captive and if so how the hell do they come out? My Plan of attack (if I cant get the captive nut off) ...

Re: Trailing arm bushes

I used a thin cutting disk to remove mine. Once in the vice i drilled mine out a, using plenty of WD so the drill dont overheat (make sure the drill has a reverse as the rubber can grip it and wont let go! I made my fitting tool using a length of threaded bar and old Syncro bits! Used 2 front "...

Re: Syncro Wing mirrors mounts

Thanks, Yes I could have made it a lot slimmer, but it has 6 screws so that any impact will not rip it out (like the previous one did!)

I dont know why someone like Brickwerks dont make them as its not that difficult, took me about a day in my garage :) Got to be cheaper than originals!!

Syncro Wing mirrors mounts

I got sick of bidding on mirror mounts to replace my knacked alloy ones....so I made some :) Made of steel and welded, polished and painted. Cost me about £20 for both sides, most of which was the stainless bolts etc. Now has the added advantage of moving if its hit rather than snapping the mount! h...
