Re: Rec. T25 mechanics in Corby/Peterborough area
I have spoken with a mechanic called Mickey he trades as Mickeys mechanics or somat like that. He did a turbo on me Seat very good value he also said he would fit parts if I get em as I felt I could get the turbo cheaper. He seams a really nice guy with a quite big unit he also told me that the loca...

Re: Rec. T25 mechanics in Corby/Peterborough area
Cheers for that always good to know and very close as I am in Great Oakley so only up the road. Like I said Simon at Campershack is a true god but that is north of Grantham so about fifty miles from me a little less for you. Shame we can't just ID a good un closer for the emergency or little jobs eh

Re: Rec. T25 mechanics in Corby/Peterborough area
Bump. I would also welcome a friendly point if I get stuck in the Corby or surrounding area. Also has anyone experience of a sensible MOT station in this area. I used Simon at Campershack for LPG conversion and initial set up and good check over when I got my van and will always as the man is a god ...

Mercedes E class seats
Hi
I have been offered a pair of Mercedes E class seats from a 1996 vehicle. They look very nice but can anyone tell me if they fit the T25 please. I will have the rails also.

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!
Hi Searched most of the thread but can't find info - dim question but I am going to use either satin or matte black on my van. Would I still have to flat back between coats? Yep, especially with matte as you'll want a super smooth layer to paint on or any roller mark will show through. Cheers was a...

Re: Air box or K&N - advice please
Cheers – much appreciated I have a Haynes and yep pretty good. I have a big dilemma. I want to get this spot on and thought I was buying an up front vehicle – it turns out not. The engine seems tight and does not blow smoke. I agree the other symptoms are probably caused by needing a real good going...

Re: Air box or K&N - advice please
Oh dear just my luck – get a good body and the rest goes wrong. Checked and definitely a dg engine although says 2.1 on log book – perks of getting a mechanic mate to do the deal miles from home I suppose. Still I am where I am and thank you all so much for the information, I will give it a good bas...

Hi Just bought the DOKA it has a 1.9 DG in it. Was a very fraught journey home could not get past about 40mph and very poor throttle response. I am going to go through things later but advice please. It has a crappy old K&N on top of the carb just pushed on – no air box. Have used these filters ...

Crew cab insurance
Hi
Hoping to pick up a crew cab 1987 this weekend – having a mare of a time trying to get insurance.
Can’t seem to get it on a classic policy and need my NCB on my other modern car
Any suggestions please – thought this would be easy
