not right?
was going to have attempt at getting my engine going on sunday and thought i would start by clearing old fuel out of the tank and fuel lines (van hasnt been started in about 2 years) but got a bit confused lol, i was under the impression that the fuel line would go from the tank (via a fuel filter) ...

thanks covkid so would i treat the metal underneath the van the same, ie sand the rust down, paint with vactan and then paint with hammerite (i think its the metal straight to rust paint ive been using) rather than using underbody seal ?

Have taken on a major resto, having stripped it i am in the process of sanding out every bit of rust inside, treating with vactan and then repainting using two coats of hammerite (obviously it wont be visible once a new interior goes in but want to make sure it wont need doing again for a long time)...

hi i think mine would be classed as late t25 as the one i am restoring was built late 1986 ?? how much are the replacement gutters you have for the late model?

thanks guys probably didnt explain properly the handbrake is seized off i.e the van rolls about no probs and the footbrake works but cannot put the handbrake on so have had to leave it in gear so it doesnt roll off the drive! am going to overhaul all the brakes etc anyway but would be nice if i coul...

Have just bought a project that had been sat in a field for the last 2 years unused. It has a 1.9dg engine that looks ok has done 80k. when i connect up the battery there is power and engine tries to turn over but wont get going. ok so mine isnt a vw one then based on that picture, i dont need to drill any holes as the 4 holes in the corner line up with 4 equal sized holes on the runners that are welded onto the van so i presume the whole things can just be bolted on top of the original runners - think i will just buy some a...

cheers mark i think its a vw one as it lines up exactly with the holes on the seat runners, think i just need to get an assortment and find the right ones, just though maybe someone else had recently fitted one didnt realise there were different makes of them

hi bought a swivel base for passenger seat, taken the seat out and can see how the swivel base bolts on
my question is does anyone know what size nuts and bolts i need for bolting the seat base down??
