Thanks guys but tried both of those.
im thinking something must be killing the starter motor. IE some sort of electrical fault, i have checked fuses e.t.c they all seam fine.

starter motor
Has anyone herd of a starter motor failing with in 3 days? Recently fitted a new one and van started fine seamed i had fixed the fault, got in it last nite and there was a pause before it started, bit strange i thought, then this morning nothing!! (just clicking) my mechanical knowledge is not great...

Anybody know of anywhere cheep to camp in kent,
bought the van a while back, but only got permission from "her", on condition that we went away in it at least once a month, with petrol prices bieing what they are im looking for something a bit closer to home

Thanks for the advise guys, i haven't got any pre made holes, its a panel van conversion, or at least its going to be.
dont think i want to go cutting holes into it just yet! might just use it as a glorified cool box

Its an Electrolux RM120 Thanx lloydy, ive now found the correct manual :ok Ive had a look and ive found the flu on the back, the manual also says a vent must be cut into the floor!! Dont think i like the idea of cutting holes in my van :shock: I guess if it was run off only 12V this would not be a p...

gas powered fridge ?
ive been given a gas powered fridge by a friend, Has anyone got any experience using one of these in a van? are they any good, how much gas do they use and are there any safety concerns ie carbon monoxide poisoning, fire etc, It seems in reasonably good nick, just thought id get some second opinions...

I have a 1986 t25 transporter coveted to run off LPG, but also runs off petrol you have to switch off on the LPG then rev the engine to burn off the remaining petrol in the carb then as you feel the revs drop switch over to LPG.
