Re: Subaru Diesel
I have been following this with great interest but have still not found anyone who has done this conversion that is not directly connected to boxeer or small cars. I have no doubt that is a good motor and works well with the 6 speed manual gearbox Etc. I find hard to believe that there is only 2 t3s...

Re: H6 3.0L Subaru into a Syncro
Thanks for links they do sit low. Defeats the purpose of having a great little off roader then ham stringing it with a over hung motor.
Need more research.
I do want more power though.
Thanks again.
Bob.

H6 3.0L Subaru into a Syncro
Hi all just like some advise on putting a H6 sub motor into my Syncro Doka.
My biggest concern is ground clearance. I have seen some conversions on the net and it looks like they hang
Very low to me or lower then the wbx.
Any advise would be great thank you
Bob.

The after market auto parts and custom mods industry etc is huge. I'm surprised they have not jumped on this

Re: eBay scammer
Don't use paypal. you have more rights and control over your own credit card then you have with paypal. So if you can complain to your bank then do so.
But yes thanks for the heads up.

Little red syncro doka
I assume I can put this link in. If I lived over there I would buy this thing in a heart beat. However what does interest me with this thing is the treasure chest. The spare wheel is in there?? Is this standard and if so why does my bulli not have this? Just really curios as I might just grab the gr...

Re: T3 or Not T3?
The company is On track Steering. They insist it is a T3 power steering rack but they also refer to the pic as if it is somehow my fault for not recognising it as being the wrong item. I know now it is not a T3 power steering rack I have my doubts about it being a type 3 rack as type 3's have a stee...

Re: T3 or Not T3?
Yes you are right Martin poor judgement on my part. The attraction was being brand new. And with the healthy exchange rate and brand new power steering rack delivered to my door for $480.00 was to good to miss. The unfortunate thing here is the postage is almost the same as the purchase price. To ge...

Re: T3 or Not T3?
Thanks Martin and lloydy. The rack they sent me is the one marked "T3" and as you said it looks more suited to the Type 3 not a T3. The top pic they marked "T/type 25" is the one I thought I ordered. I will start the claim proccess now before it gets to late. Thanks again gentlem...

T3 or Not T3? Any Body recognise these??
I have just purchased a power steering rack for my T3. It does not fit nor does it look much like the rack it's suposed to replace. After talking to the company I purchased it from they say I have a been sent a T3 power steering rack but I should have purchased a T25 power steering rack. I thought t...

Re: Captain Seats
I found a pair of seats that will fit the T3 there stratos suspension seat's. the springs run up the back not under the seat so they are very shallow But very very expensive ($1800 aus) But what might interest you here is you can buy the armrests seperate and I think adapt them to our seats just a t...
