made a bit more sense once I had a proper good nosey at it. Filled new filter with fuel and it started okay first time.

Turns out the engines a 1.7 rather than a 1.9 thats on the parperwork which confused things.

I've had a good rummage around and didnt get anywhere with the search engine on here but basically Im looking to change the fuel filter on a 1.9 watercooled this weekend, I've got the Haynes book of lies but it only covers the petrol engine not the diesel. Anyone know of a good reputable VW / T25 specialist/garage in the area Rossendale-ish area? mainly for welding work and the odd job my Landrover poisoned brain cant figure out on the parent-in-laws T25.
