Re: How interchangeable are 2L Aircooled engines?
Definitely a CJ - I'm hopefully buying an engine tomorrow - I imagine it's a CU if it's out of an X reg - any idea what bits I should ensure are with it to make it fit where the CJ came out?

How interchangeable are 2L Aircooled engines?
Need a lump to replace the one that spilt its guts on the M3 on the way to Glasto
It was a CJ - do I need to find a direct replacement or are all 2L Aircooled fairly interchangeable?

Re: How do I find a decent 2L Aircooled engine?
So after the drama of having my '88 WBX stolen I had to quickly and cheaply replace it so I could get to Glastonbury. I picked up a bit of a shed from eBay but hoped it might have an OK engine - it didn't and it blew on the M3 on the way to Glasto! It's currently sitting at a garage in Glastonbury ...

Had mine for just over 3 years now - no problems - just had my clutch replaced by them as well - they're about the only people I've come across I trust

Re: Merc Alloys on lowered bus
These wheels would fit nice , not 100% sure but think you will need 10mm spacer , which will mean longer studs on the back and front stud conversion from http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php?keyword=stud&Search=Search&Itemid=6&option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse" onclick=&q...

Merc Alloys on lowered bus
I'm about to get a set of Mercedes Alloys, 7X16 ET37 5/112 PCD.
Will these go straight on my bus even if it's had a 60mm lowering?

S-shaped coolant hose - where to find?
Had my bus serviced today and as I seemed to be losing some coolant asked them to keep an eye out for any leaks. Sure enough there's an S-shaped bit of hose directly under the air-filter that's leaking. My mechanic says he can't source a replacement - Does anybody here have ideas where I can find on...

Don't think they're familiar at all with the T25. I only brought it to them as they're my closest and my throttle cable had snapped. Wasn't much fun driving around with a steel cable in my left hand as an accelerator!!! Didn't think flushing/changing coolant would be much of a job but I was proved w...
